Bringing together 27 titles, this exhibition highlights the breadth and diversity of contemporary photobook publishing in France. It offers visitors the opportunity to appreciate the photobook as a creative medium in its own right.

The selection explores a range of themes, including environmental issues, women’s rights, landscape and the relationship between urban and rural areas. It also features artists with links to Turkey or to the Institut français’s programme.

The exhibition offers an opportunity to explore the range of French photobook publishing and highlight the work of publishers who support photographers in creating and bringing their books to wider audiences.

Following the exhibition, the books will join the collections of the media libraries at the Institut français in Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir, where they will remain available to new readers.
